In what formats do cargo mats come?

Our cargo mats are available in the following formats:

In what thicknesses are the mats available?
ANSWER
We have options from 8mm thick to 12mm thick.
Is cargo matting available in strips?
ANSWER
Yes! We can supply the matting in strips.
Can ABS West cut matting to specific tray sizes?
ANSWER
YES, we can cut cargo mats to specific tray sizes, however cutting charges may apply.
In practice, what's the coefficient of sliding friction value?
ANSWER
A value of 0.6μ should be the base for calculations (recommended by part 15 of VDI 2700).
REGUPOL cargo mats easily exceed minimum requirements by 15-50%, depending on the friction elements (the sliding friction coefficient of a friction increasing surface depends on the combination of materials involved, temperature, moisture etc.,).

What's the load capacity of REGUPOL cargo mats?
ANSWER
REGUPOL 7210 LS Plus: 250 t/m² = 2.50 N/mm²
REGUPOL 9510 RHS Plus: 300 t/m² = 3.0 N/mm²
REGUPOL 1000 LSE: 630 t/m² = 6.30 N/mm²
How many times can REGUPOL cargo mats be used?
ANSWER
REGUPOL cargo Mats can be used repeatedly until they become split, torn or crushed; or come into contact with chemicals, oils or fuels. When these events happen, the mats have reached their discard status.
Is there a chance that REGUPOL mats could leave black stains or streaks on cargo?
ANSWER
If you are planning to carry uncovered cargo with sensitive surfaces, then consider using REGUPOL cargo mat 9510®, a specially designed product that won’t leave black marks or streaks on ‘at risk’ items. REGUPOL cargo mat 9510® has been developed specifically to avoid this occurrence.
Can REGUPOL cargo mats be cleaned?
ANSWER
Yes! the mats can be cleaned by:
- shaking off loose dirt
- vacuuming
- rinsing
- pressure cleaning (if required)
What kind of ambient conditions can the mats handle?
ANSWER
All REGUPOL cargo mats can handle challenging conditions such as extreme temperatures (-40 °C to +120 °C) UV light, and moisture. Our toughest mat is LSE 1000.
