Unlike many other underlays on the market, REGUPOL sonus multi 3 is ideal for use under resilient floor coverings as it contains NO rubber – thus preventing plasticizer migration – a very important consideration when installing vinyl, linoleum, marmoleum or other resilient floor surfaces. Plasticizer migration can cause resilient floor coverings to discolour and become brittle. Avoid this problem by using a product such as REGUPOL sonus multi 3 which is specifically designed to circumvent these problems.

So, if REGUPOL sonus multi 3 isn’t made of rubber, what is it made of?…. REGUPOL sonus multi 3 is manufactured from high quality, light weight PUR foam granulates and cork, bound with polyurethane.  Examples of resilient flooring include vinyl, rubber, pvc, marmoleum and linoleum. Resilient flooring is basically any floor covering that has some ‘give’ or ‘flex’ without cracking, and provides some degree of cushioning when a load is placed upon it.

Regupol REGUPOL sonus multi 3 attenuates impact sound at source. The resilient flooring can be installed directly over the acoustic underlay, eliminating the need for separation layers. Regupol REGUPOL sonus multi 3 has a smooth texture and a sanded finish.
